He is initially very embarrassed about his life in the country and has low esteem. But as he visits his friend in the city and sees what is life is actually like the country mouse slowly learns that his life wasn’t embarrassing like he thought. The classic story is a retelling of one of Aesop’s Fables. The story is written with the intention of teaching one life lessons which would stay with the readers and teach them more about themselves and how to be a good person.
