Then And Now : “Then And Now” By S R Ramakrishna is a wonderful story with lovely illustrations by Tanvi Bhat. The story follows a boy, Chiltari, and his father. Chiltari is sitting at the table with his father listening to him as the rain pours. His father is telling him about a city of sights and sounds. Chiltari questions him about where the chirping birds, the gardens his father loves and the flowing streams are. He says all he hears is the sounds of busy city.His father quietly gets up to take him out for a walk outside. During their walk Chiltari meets familiar people and goes to several places and realises something. Read on to find out what he realizes, and what he saw and heard during his walk.
