Too Many Bananas : “Too Many Bananas” by Rohini Nilekani is a comedic story with wonderful illustrations by Angie & Upesh. This is another edition in Rohini Nilekani’s comedic series on the life of Sringeri Srinivas. The story follows Sringeri Srinivas, a banana farmer. He was a great farmer and his bananas were very sweet. Many of his bananas were ripe and sweet however no one seemed to want his bananas. Not his family, not his friends, the villagers and even his cows. Srinivas was disgruntled and did not know what to do. Then one day he went out with his bananas and came back very happy. He seemed to have sold all the bananas and there were none left for anyone. Not his family, not his friends, the villagers and even his cows. Then one day a priest asked to be sent 108 bananas for a pooja. But Srinivas does not get their as the pooja. Read on to find out what happened to his bananas and the pooja.
