The story follows two protagonists, the twins, Samar and Nivya. Both Samar and Nivya are terrified of the sweet shop across the street. They christened him the Rakshas Sweetie-Man. The shop-owner looks extremely intimidating to the two children with his large face, nose and hands, moreover he is huge and has a scary voice. The two children barely manage to look at him forget entering his lovely shop filled with wonderful sweets an toys. Other children seem to be able to visit the place just fine.
