Chicken Licken : “Chicken Licken” is a retelling of the classic Aesop Fable by author Christianne C. Jones. The story is accompanied with brilliant illustrations. The story follows the story of the main protagonist little Chicken Licken. One day while taking a walk on the road Chicken Licken was struck by something from high up. He comes to the conclusion that the Sky is falling as he does not spot anything above him. He immediately decides he needs to inform the high authority. As he runs on the road many other animals ask him why Chicken Licken was rushing. All the other animals follow him. But then they meet someone who makes them forget all about the sky falling. The story is written with the intention of teaching one life lessons which would stay with the readers and teach them more about themselves and how to deal with situations.
