Farida Plans A Feast : “Farida Plans a Feast” by Meagan Dobson Sippy is a beautiful story with amazing illustrations by Jayesh Sivan. It tells a story of Farida, who goes to walk every evening, but she takes an empty tiffin box and a big water bottle with her. She seems to have a few stops on the way, from where she borrows something or the other. Farida asks for some uncooked rice, smelly fish and broken biscuits. All of these food items seem to be strange for her to eat and for her to put in her lunchbox to eat could be disastrous. What does she intend to do with everything she has borrowed? What could all of these items be used for?
