The Auto That Flew : “The Auto That Flew” by Ken Spillman is an adventurous story with amazing illustrations by Ajanta Guhathakurta. The story follows Arun, the auto with three wheels and a coat of green and yellow. He belongs to the largest family in the whole of Delhi,everywhere he went he was met with choruses of “Go Carefully” from his brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles and cousins. He worked hard for his autowallah, Sirish, an old man who took good care of him. Arun was always in awe of the Delhi City from Qutub Minar to Connaught Place. One hot summer day full of traffic Arun wished he could fly and avoid all the vehicles and the congestion. Today an old lady was the passenger. The three, Arun, Sirish and the passenger lady, came across a boy selling ‘magic’.
