The Little Red Chicken : “The Little Red Chicken” is a retelling of the classic Aesop Fable by author Christianne C. Jones. The story is accompanied with brilliant illustrations. The story follows the story of the main protagonist a little red hen who lives on the farm. One day she decides she wants to make bread. To bake the bread she asks her friends on the farm to help her out with different tasks. But they all refuse. So the chicken does it all by herself, she harvests and mills the wheat for the bread. Once the bread is baked however her friends attitudes change. This classic story is a retelling of one of Aesop’s Fables. The story is written with the intention of teaching one life lessons which would stay with the readers and teach them more about themselves and how to deal with situations.
