Monkey Puzzle is a classic and popular tale of a monkey who searches for his lost mother, originally written by a British author and playwright Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler, published in 2000 by Macmillan.

A little monkey lost his mother in a deep jungle. He comes across a butterfly who decides to help him find her. The monkey keeps describing his mother to the butterfly but the butterfly keeps taking him to other animals instead because she doesn’t know what she looks like! Will the poor monkey ever find his mother?
